Getting Started

Do you only offer subscriptions?

No, we offer one-time order and subscription options. Under our "weekly wellness plans" tab, click "customize your nutrition". From here, you have the option to toggle "one time" or "subscribe and save" then choose your items one by one and choose your delivery frequency. If there is an error with adding an item to your cart, first make sure your toggle matches your drop-down.

Are snacks and juices included in any of the meal plans?

Our ordering system is extremely dynamic and customizable, allowing you to choose each and every item that you would like in your delivery. Snacks and juices must be added separately.

What is the bag/ice fee for? Is it required?

The one-time bag and ice fee covers the cost of our reusable insulated delivery bag and ice packs for 1 delivery. At each delivery thereafter, you will simply place your bag and ice packs on your porch the morning-of so we can swap with your new set of meals! If bags and ice are not returned, there may be an additional fee for future deliveries. We try to be flexible and understanding within reason. Thank you for being a part of our reusable program and helping us reduce waste. *We are not able to use personal bags and ice at this time.

Q's About Orders/Delivery

When is the deadline to order/when do I receive it?

All orders must be placed by 11:59pm each Friday to receive your delivery on Tuesday. Any orders placed after 11:59pm will be moved to the following week’s delivery unless we have spoken and confirmed otherwise.

Do I need to be present for delivery?

You do not need to be present at the time of delivery, but it is recommended. We do ask that bags and ice packs from your previous delivery are set out ahead of time if you will not be home. Deliveries are made between 11am-4pm; Mindful Culinary Creations is not liable for spoilage after drop off.

Do you deliver to office buildings?

Of course! We love serving office staff or individuals who prefer to keep their meals chilled in the fridge while at work. Simply type in your preferred address for delivery and any necessary instructions we may need to find your office, just like you would for your home.

What do I do if my order is wrong or something is missing at delivery?

We are dedicated to making sure our clients’ needs are met. Please email us with a description of what’s missing or incorrect at mindfulculinarycreations@gmail.com. We would be happy to assist you!

Can I receive a refund?

All sales are final, but we encourage you to contact us immediately if you are having any issues with your order. Please email us at mindfulculinarycreations@gmail.com and we would be happy to help find a solution as soon as possible! For delivery-related issues, we will respond within 24 hours.

Storage + Prep

How do I store my meals?

Our freshly made meals should be stored in the refrigerator as soon as possible from the time you receive your “delivered!” text. They are best consumed within 5-6 days after delivery, and we recommend eating more delicate items (such as salads) first for an optimal experience.

How should I store my snacks?

Juice: store in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days.

Desserts/Oats: Refrigerate for up to 5 days. Cheesecakes may be frozen for a few weeks and thawed.

GF bread loaf: transfer to an airtight container or bag and store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Loaves can also be sealed tightly and frozen.

Can I freeze meals if I don't finish them?

Certain meals (like lasagna, soups, and curries) may be freezable, but please do so with discretion. While our containers are freezable, please remove all tender greens and consider something more airtight for longer storage. Your meals are designed to be enjoyed fresh for the best quality experience.

Do the meals require any prep/cooking?

All of our meals are pre-prepared and ready to enjoy! Simply follow our simple reheating instructions, if applicable, on the label provided. We may offer stove-top or oven reheating instructions to encourage a slow, mindful experience but it is not necessary.

Note: all of our clear plastic materials are NON-microwavable. Feel free to microwave any of our brown fiber and soup containers or transfer contents to another dish.

Ingredients/Menu Design

Is all the food organic?

We focus on the Dirty Dozen and a few other important ingredients when it comes to organic. While we used to be 100% organic, our necessary price reflections made it hard for many to order. We are now focusing on what's most important so that we can keep serving our city. Each meal label will contain a star* to indicate which ingredients are organic so you’re always in the loop. Please also see the "This Week's Menu" page for a list of ingredients we buy organic.

Do you accommodate allergies?

We have been able to accommodate many allergy needs since we run our own private kitchen. Please inquire through our contact form BEFORE checkout so that you are fully informed of our capabilities with the current menu. If we cannot make a swap on a menu item, we are happy to double up on another meal of your choice! Disclaimer: Our facility is not certified allergen-free, and cross-contamination may affect someone with a severe allergy. We use nuts weekly and cannot accommodate life threatening allergies.

Do you offer meal plans with meat/dairy?

We believe in bio-individuality and support whatever lifestyle you choose. Here at Mindful Culinary Creations we offer plant based foods because we believe that adding plants to the diet is a great foundation for any lifestyle and can have incredible health benefits. We understand how difficult it is to find time to craft nutrient-dense meals at home, so we’ve found a way to do it for you!

While our meals our nutritionally complete, feel free to make it your own at home. We love to see all the ways you enjoy MCC meals!

Can I request a special menu for my family?

We only offer 1 menu for delivery each week. If you have a special need in your household and would like to receive 1:1 services, we would love to schedule a consultation call with our Certified Nutritionist/Chef.

Can I make a special request for future menus?

We love hearing what you’d like to see on future menus! In fact, there’s no better way for us to make our clients happy than to make your delivery dreams come true. Send us a message on Instagram, email us, or fill out the box on the contact us page and we’d love to consider your requests!
